Pub insurance to cover all types of public houses, bars and inns
Warrings provides pub insurance to suit all sorts of public houses, bars and licensed trades. Warrings pub insurance policies include an extensive range of insurance covers to suit the requirements of most types of licensed trades. These are packaged policies which provide the most cost effective way of buying the most commonly required insurance covers. However, the policy is flexible and designed to provide landlords and bar owners with a choice of cover level when obtaining a pub insurance quote for their licensed trade.
The following sections are automatically provided within our standard pub insurance policy:
Property Damage
Property Damage covers loss or damage to contents of your pub caused by fire, theft, explosion, earthquake, flood, riot or civil commotion, malicious or accidental damage. The contents of any residential portion can be addedBusiness Interruption
The policy automatically covers up to £250,000 loss of trading profit during a 24 month period following an event which may have caused damage and/or destruction to your pub premises or contents. A higher sum insured can be selected if necessary.Money and Personal Assault
The standard cover provides protection for loss of money on the premises during business hours of up to £3,000 or whilst in transit or in a bank night safe. Whilst handling money on your business, employees are automatically covered for death or permanent disability if assaulted of up to £10,000.Glass (repairs or replacement)
Glass cover provides protection for breakage or damage to the glass in the windows and doors of your bar as well as external signage.Employers' Liability
A legal requirement under UK legislation, this covers your liability for injury to employees up to £10,000,000 (£5,000,000 if the loss arises from terrorism). It also covers legal costs (up to £250,000) for defending criminal proceedings brought for a breach of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.Public Liability
Public liability covers legal liability up to £2,000,000 for accidental bodily injury to the general public and/or damage to their property arising from your negligence or your employees’ negligence.Products Liability
Products Liability covers accidental injury to the general public or damage to their property caused by products sold or supplied to them by the pub or bar. It automatically includes legal liability cover for drink or food poisoning.Deterioration of Refrigerated Stock
This covers deterioration of refrigerated stock of up to £1,000 caused by breakdown of refrigeration units or failure of the public electricity supply. The amount is automatically increased during November, December and public holidays.Book Debts
Covers loss of debts owed by customers you are unable to trace following loss or damage to your accounting records caused by perils covered under Property Damage above.Goods in Transit
Standard cover provides £2,500 of protection against loss or damage of your goods in transit.Loss of Licence
This covers the loss in value of your business or premises should your Premises Licence (required under the Licensing Act 2003) be revoked or not renewed by causes beyond your control. The policy automatically provides cover of up to £100,000 but a higher sum insured can be selected if necessary.

Provides an alternative to insuring individual machinery in your public house against specific perils included under the Property Damage section.
